Allstate has had a presence in Nothern Ireland since 1999 in both Belfast and Strabane, and is the largest IT employer in the province. In 2016 they decided to have a new Belfast headquarters constructed on Mays Meadow and Catering Concepts were brought on board for the foodservice designs which were to cater for their 1300 staff members. 

 

The main entrance to the building was allocated to a coffee shop for the staff, and passing members of the pubic, to grab a really food coffee and some light bites before going on with their day. This area was designed with a counter which has a corrian top and fascia. The counter houses 2 Counterline refrigerated displays for self-service and the rear counter has some back up refrigeration and a Merrychef for quickly producing high quality hot food. 

 

The main staff restaurant has fantastic views over the river Lagan, and some beautiful foodservice counters. The foodservice counters have been split into 3 individual areas which include a cold deli, and hot food counter and a unique Rieber self-extracting theatre cooking station with an ever changing menu. The front of house areas in the staff restaurant are backed up with a kitchen complete with stacked Rational combination ovens, Blue Seal cooking line as well as a Glycol chilled cold room and freezer room.
