This restaurant project was the first venture for husband and wife team Chris and Davina McGowan who had returned to Northern Ireland after working for more than 20 years in London, over 10 of which as Chef Director for Corrigans Mayfair. The couple purchased a property in Moira and Galgorm Group worked alongside Chris to completely re-design the layout of the kitchen, and incorporate a completely open-planned kitchen to give the feeling of a greater connection to the chefs. The quality of the equipment used is as high quality as Chris’s food with cooking solutions by Blue Seal, Mibrasa and Rational, refrigeration by True Refrigeration and ware washing by Winterhalter.

Wine & Brine has enjoyed great success, and in its opening year was named Best Local Restaurant of the Year by the Waitrose Good Food Guide.
