Galgorm Group were introduced to the client here, John Elliott,  through a business group he was a member of. John reached out looking expertise to design and install a kitchen and facilities to serve up to 1000 students per day for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the new Queens Studens Union building.

Working alongside John we designed an island service kitchen based around his menu with speed of service in mind. Using the latest technologies of Rational iProduction Manager, as well as Merrychef high speed ovens we can ensure fresh and fast food can be delivered to the busy students of QUB.

The island modular cook-suite contains Rational stack ovens, Blue Seal induction hobs, fryers and griddles. The kitchen is supported with a remote chilled cold room, True upright refrigeration and saladettes. Alto Shaam hot holding equipment and Classeq warewashing.

The front of house has a bespoke tiled counter holding the hot beverage equipment, and a rear support counter for chilled drinks and slushies.
