Year: 2017

Location: Belfast, Co. Antrim

Specifics: Wood Burning Grill

Having worked with Hotelier Bill Wolsey for over 15 years we were excited about being brought to the table for his new hotel in Belfast City Centre. Always looking to come up with something new and fresh for Northern Ireland, Bills idea for the Bullitt Hotel was for a front of house kitchen with a piece of equipment that would be the talking point of the town. After doing some research with Executive Head Chef Patrick Leonard, we came up with the custom designed Asador grill which is on view in the Taylor & Clay restaurant within the hotel. This 300kg grill was hand made from stainless steel and has 3 wood burning cages at the rear, with 2 angled cooking surfaces which are adjusted via a cog and wheel system. Alongside this amazing piece of engineering is also Blue Seal cooking equipment, Lincat induction, Rational Combi oven and Williams Jade drawered service fridges.

In Autumn of 2017 the Bullitt opened its rooftop restaurant and bar, Babel, which included what is arguably Belfast's finest bar tender set-up along with another beautiful and functional Catering Concepts kitchen.
