Galgorm Group had the pleasure on working with Gilbert Ash on this, another prestigious project, in Cambridge for Tricon and Northmores.

This project was a delicate extension to the college to provide a new kitchen and servery to provide catering facilities for up to 1000 students and staff per day. Working on an historical building which is hundreds of years old provided some spatial and logistical challenges, but with great co-ordination and accurate planning everything went in as per design intent.

The fit-out consisted of a stores area and water-cooled plant on level -1.0 to service 6no cold rooms. Kitchens, prep areas, cold rooms, cooking and warewashing on level -0.5 which included a 10m Halton UV extract and supply canopy. Bespoke servery counter with honed top on level 2.0 and a back-up service pantry.

The project design here was led by catering consultants, Tricon, and included MKN cooking equipment, Rational combi ovens, Williams Refrigeration, Halton UV canopies and Winterhalter warewashing equipment.
